Founded in 2020, Grace & Grit emerged with the goal of fostering a fun and friendly summer series competition enriched with added money and prizes. The event exceeded expectations, drawing competitors from across the province and creating lasting connections within the barrel racing community.

In 2021, we raised the bar with the introduction of a 5D slot race, consistently awarding over $40,000 in cash prizes and valuable rewards to riders of all levels. This year, we're reaching new heights by proudly bringing a Futurity/Derby event to Saskatchewan. Focused on horses aged 4-8, this addition aligns with the Canadian Barrel Futurities' mission to promote quality Futurities & Derbies in the region, providing trainers and racers with meaningful competitions.

While the Futurity/Derby takes center stage, Grace & Grit remains dedicated to inclusivity. Our open, youth, and peewee races ensure that participants of all levels can share in the excitement and camaraderie.
